Sarasota Has Opinions About Design

Sarasota is a town with a genuine architectural inheritance, and it shows in what homeowners here ask for. A kitchen that would be perfectly at home in a new-build community can look badly out of place in a mid-century original off Siesta Drive or a 1950s house in one of the older neighborhoods near the bay. Clients here tend to arrive with a clear point of view, and the job is to execute it properly rather than talk them into a package.

That suits how we work. Our in-house design team handles the drawings, our own craftsmen build and install, and you can walk the finished kitchen in VR before anything is ordered. Nothing is handed off to a franchise design service or a rotating cast of subcontractors.

Our showroom and workshop are at 6007 111th St E in Bradenton, a straightforward run up I-75 or the Tamiami Trail. Close enough to be on site quickly, and close enough that a slab viewing is an easy trip rather than a day out.

Houses, Condos, and Everything Between

Sarasota’s older neighborhoods, the ones inland of the bay and around University Park, Woodbrook, and the Whitfield corridor, are largely block and frame homes with closed kitchens and layouts drawn for a different way of living. Opening them up is the change that matters, and in houses with architectural character it has to be done with some restraint.

Condo work is its own discipline. Downtown and on the keys, the building has rules about renovation windows, service elevators, noise hours, and waste removal, and those rules shape the schedule more than the design does. We would far rather know them at the design stage than discover them on delivery day.

Then there is the newer eastern side of the county, where the layouts are fine and the builder-grade cabinetry and countertops are the whole problem. Those projects move quickly, because we are swapping like for like at a much higher grade.

01.

Condo & HOA Coordination

Renovation windows, elevator access, and building approvals planned into the schedule from the start rather than bolted on.

02.

Design-Led Renovation

An in-house design team, not a franchise package, for homes where the kitchen has to suit the architecture.

03.

Custom-Fit Cabinetry

Older Sarasota homes are rarely square. Custom boxes and scribed fillers close the gaps stock cabinetry leaves.

04.

3D and VR Visualization

Stand in the finished kitchen before demolition. Clients routinely adjust island size or cabinet height at this stage.

Services We Provide in Sarasota

Everything below is handled by our own team, from first measurement through final installation. You are not managing a chain of subcontractors, and you are not the one checking that the countertop template matches the cabinets that arrived.

Quartz or Quartzite

The most common question we field, and the answer depends on how you live. Quartz is engineered, non-porous, needs no sealing, and gives you consistent color across a large island. Quartzite is natural stone, harder than granite, with veining that is genuinely one of a kind, and it wants periodic sealing.

Families with a busy weeknight kitchen usually land on quartz. Homeowners who want the island to be the centerpiece of an open plan usually land on quartzite. We keep both in the showroom as full slabs. The longer comparison is here.

How the Process Works

We start with a conversation about how you use the kitchen and what the budget needs to look like, then measure in your home, checking ceiling height, natural light, and existing plumbing and electrical placement. Our design team produces a full 3D rendering and you can walk the space in VR before anything is ordered. From there we handle material selection, ordering, demolition, installation, and the final walkthrough.

Frequently Asked Questions

You are based in Bradenton. Do you really work in Sarasota?

Regularly. Sarasota and Bradenton are a single market for this kind of work, and we are a short drive up I-75 or the Tamiami Trail. A good number of our completed projects are Sarasota homes.

Can you work in a condo with renovation restrictions?

Yes, and we would rather know the restrictions at the design stage. Send us the building’s renovation rules and we will plan the schedule, the access route, and the material deliveries around them.

Do you design to suit the architecture of the house?

That is the point of having an in-house design team rather than a fixed package. A kitchen in a mid-century Sarasota home should not look like one dropped into a new-build, and we will say so if a selection is fighting the house.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

A cabinet and countertop replacement moves considerably faster than a layout change involving structural work, and condo projects are governed partly by the building’s own rules. We give you a realistic schedule at the design stage.

Can I see the design before I commit?

Yes. Every project includes 3D renderings, and we offer VR walkthroughs so you can stand in the finished kitchen before we order a single cabinet.

Where can I see examples of your work?

Our project gallery has photographs from completed kitchens across Sarasota and Manatee counties, and the showroom has full displays.
